When to Change a Diaper
In the first couple of months, you may find yourself changing diapers up to 10 times in 24 hours. Diapers should be changed whenever they are wet or soiled. Your baby will often (but not always) let you know. With a super-absorbent diaper like Pampers diapers, you can tell if it's wet by feeling for lumps in the absorbent material.
Here are some common times for changing diapers:
Right before or right after every feeding
After every bowel movement
Before bedtime
When your baby wakes up
When you go out with your baby
The Art of Changing Diapers
Pampers Diapers are designed to adjust to your baby's shape for a snug, comfortable fit. While changing diapers there's no need to fold the waistband in or out or to adjust the leg cuffs.
Place tabs parallel to the waistband and centered on the character strip.
Use the characters as guides to ensure the fasteners are evenly spaced.
Keep baby products such as powder away from the fasteners so they maintain their stickiness.
Wiping baby bottoms
All Pampers baby wipes help clean away bacteria, even after a wet change. Have a supply handy while changing diapers to help keep your baby clean and fresh.
For baby girls, while changing diapers always wipe from front to back to minimize the amount of stool material that gets near her genitals. Also, be careful to clean all areas, as the folds in the skin around her genitals can hide urine and soil.
Treating and preventing diaper rash
Red bumps on your baby's bottom may mean diaper rash. It can be caused by many factors, including leaving urine or bowel movement on the skin too long between changing diapers or even as a result of taking antibiotics. And when your baby starts solid foods, wait a few days between introducing each new food to see if the rash was caused by a particular food.
If your baby has diaper rash, clean the entire diapered area gently but thoroughly with a baby wipe. It is also helpful to allow air to reach the skin. Talk to your doctor, pediatrician or pharmacist if the rash does not improve.
Finding the right size
Just like you, babies like to wear things that fit just right. Choose a size that does not sag or gap, even as your baby crawls and plays. This will help prevent leaks. Each product description on this site gives guidelines that represent the average weight for a particular size. And remember, when you move up a size, you gain absorbency.
Weighing babies
The easiest way to weigh your baby is to first hop on the scale yourself. See how much you weigh, then see how much you weigh when you hold your baby. If you subtract your weight, you'll know how much your baby weighs.
Safe diapering
You buy the latest toys and babies wind up playing with silly things - like diapers. It's important to keep diapers where they should be, on your baby's bottom. Don't let your baby put the diaper in her mouth. Discard any diaper that has become torn or unsealed, and read the warning label on all bags.
Diaper gel facts
AGM is the absorbent gelling material widely used in diaper padding to absorb wetness. It is perfectly normal to see some gel on the skin from time to time, especially if the diaper is heavily saturated. It can easily be removed by wiping your baby's skin.
This material has a long history of safe use in a variety of products and has been in diapers for more than a decade. Absorbent gelling material is closely related to ingredients widely used in cosmetics and in food processing.
Waste removal
As the Pampers bag recommends, you'll want to dump bowel movements in the toilet. Then just roll the diaper into its backsheet, using the tape or fasteners to keep it closed, and dispose of it in the trash.
Diaper storage
Store your diapers in an area protected from extreme heat and humidity and away from products with fragrances. We recommend the diaper be kept in a dry storage area where the temperature is 85 degrees or less.

hands down, best disposable out there
These diapers really are the best! When my son was born (our first), we never really gave a thought as to what brand of diaper we would buy. We were gifted another brand and experienced some rather unpleasant surprises more often than we would have preferred! A friend recommended Swaddlers and we've never looked back! My son has never had diaper rash, "blow-outs" have been few & far-between, the diapers don't smell too terribly like urine, and I've never had them leak. I just wish that Size 3 boxes were easier to find - either they sell out very fast, or the stores don't order them.

So Soft
I love these diapers! I have found that a lot of diapers are rough on the inside where the tabs are and I have thrown some away in the past. Pampers Sensitive diapers on the other hand are so soft I will not buy any other kind. I like the fact that they are quite thin and I find they fit my son really well. Well worth the money! Plus, you gotta love the smell of CLEAN pampers!

Great!!!
I love these diapers! I never understood why people were so picky with their diapers until my son arrived. He has sensitive skin and had a bit of a struggle with bowl movements for the first 3 months. These diapers kept his bottom as dry as could be. I haven't had any diaper rash or irritation to deal with since we found these. I just wish I could buy them in a larger quantity.

Love these!!
I must say that these are the best for our little guy!! It fits bigger than Pampers Baby Dry and we aren't constantly worried about having excrement up the back now. I like how they are the same material as the swaddlers, since that is what we used right from the hospital. The only thing I would prefer is to have a indicator like the swaddlers have showing the wetness instead of having to pull the diaper open to check. I would totally recommend this product.

poor fit poor absorbency
pretty disappointed in this product. I was in love with swaddlers but unfortunately you cant get boxes of size 3's. Now ive used cruisers and they leak out the top the velcro doesnt stay closed and my baby's skin is always soaking wet when i go to change him. this diaper has actually come right off in his sleeper!! So sad that i cant get swaddlers anymore. if this is what i cant expect from pampers i might aswell switch to a generic brand and save some money.

Love love love them
I started using the baby dry about 2 months ago, started with size 2 and just graduated to size 3. I have tried the swaddlers and found they leaked, my baby always seemed to get wet up her back and when she had a bowel movement it also went up her back...YUCK!! I tried the baby dry and never even once had a leak. She's been sleeping through the night at least 10 hours for about 2 months now and the baby dry diapers are the only ones that last through the night. All others I've tried leak. I'm extremely happy with the baby dry diapers and won't switch for anything!

Poo explosion
Why don't Pampers "Dry Fit" diapers do what they're supposed to? I meant to buy the Pampers Swaddlers (size 1), since that's what I had bought before and really liked, but in error bought the Dry Fit. I've used 5 diapers and 3 of them have leaked...and I don't mean a slight dribble but a poo explosion out the side of the right leg and all up my little guy's back. Now I have 100+ of these diapers that I'm afraid to trust. What a waste!

Love pampers, best diapers ever!
I don't know what all the fuss is about with the pampers. My 3 year old daughter used them from the time that she was born and we never had any problems. They fit well and never had any problems with them leaking. Now my 6 month old son uses them and has since he was born,I love pampers! We had tried another brand(h) and I did not like them one bit! They were too bulky and did not hold the solids and liquids like pampers does.

These diapers are terrible! My baby soaks through them in no time and then the diaper breaks apart and he is left with soaked cotton bits all over him - even down his pant leg. They don't last 4hrs for my little guy. I gave them a second chance and the same thing happened. I will never buy these again. Good but fustrating to purchase in bulk
I absolutely love using the Easy-Ups with my son. He has very sensitive skin and the trainers do not irritate him. He believes they are underwear and enjoys pulling them up and down to use the potty. My only frustration is that they are extremely difficult to purchase in larger quantities (ie seems you can usually only find the 40 bag rather than the 77 in the box) I live in a rural area so I like purchasing in bulk and the price is usually much better. Wal-mart does not carry the larger quantities on a large basis it is really hit or miss and I haven't found any other retailers that have the boxes.

Ill-fitting, not easy to dispose of
These do not fit my toddler boy properly. He is about 35 pounds, so I purchased size 5. But they do not fit over his bum. They constantly ride up between his bum cheeks. And they are hard to dispose of sanitarily since they don't have the sticky tabs to roll them up like Huggies do.

We recommend the diaper be kept in a dry storage area where the temperature is 85 degrees or less.

training pants
My daughter is 30 months old and potty trained. We have been using these training pants for months and they are great. She can pull them up and down on her own which is great! Now we only use them for when she goes for a nap or at night. I am very impressed with how absorbent these training pants are. We have only used Pampers products because they don't leak! Great product and very satisfied as well!

Good Product
My 22 month old is potty training and we're using these. She steps in and out of them really easily although they did rip a couple of times when she got her toe caught in the leg holes. Not sure what happened there. Anyway, the absorbency is really good. No leaks whatsoever. The only thing is (and this may be unique to my daughter) she sometimes has accidents and doesn't seem like she cares. Her diaper may be full to exploding and she'd still just have it on. That's the only thing I'd point out. But those accidents are few and far between so overall, I'm happy with this product.

Tips for Bedwetting and Training
As your little one transitions from diapers to underwear, here are some tips to help with nighttime training.
Reduce evening fluid intake. Try to avoid giving your child anything to drink 2 hours prior to bedtime.
Have your child take one last trip to the potty before getting into bed. Timing is everything. This last minute pit stop can help put you one step closer to a dry morning.
Make sure the bathroom is easily accessible. Clear the toys aside and ensure night-lights illuminate an easy path to the toilet.

great diaper
i am quite happy with this diaper pant. absorbs nicely. only downfall is how easy the sides sometimes rip without any effort. would be nice to have a easier way to change. you know maybe have tabs on the side like a regular diaper. other than that i love the quietness of the diaper.

Sometimes difficult to find
I like this product, it tends to work well. It occasionally leaks ... once in a while, it won't keep my 5 year old dry during the night.
Two things: I find the "small/medium" hard-to-find. Stores seem to always be out of the right size (Pampers, as a supplier, should encourage stores to keep enough stock of various sizes).
Second, the designs (robots?) sometimes make it difficult to tell the front from the back of the diaper. This could be made more clear.

Works better for a 3 year old than anything else
I have tried every brand possible with my daughter, and she has been in pull-ups since before 18m because of her size. I was on the largest size of pull-ups, and they just don't work for nighttime anymore. I tried underjams because at that point I didn't know that Pampers Cruisers makes a size 7. Now we alternate between cruisers and underjams (size s/m) because I give my daughter a choice of what she wants to wear to bed.
Thank you Pampers for both making a product that works for my big little girl, and for making sizes that fit.

Great diaper, happy mommy!
I have been using Pampers ever since my son was born. I started out with the Swaddlers and it was love at first diaper! He is now in a size 4 so I bought the Pampers Baby Dry diapers because he is a big night time diaper wetter! I have not had one morning that I have woken up to a leak. This in itself is worth the money. The price is reasonable compared to the "other leading brands" and the quality is even better. I am a very happy Pampers Mommy!

Lately i have been having a hard time finding these and have heard they are being discontinued. I hope not. My daycare provider uses many different kinds and she says two quick wipes on the worst of episodes and they make things all better. You can use them on baby's hands and face, feet and tummy! My little girl has sensitive skin and reacts to Aveeno products! she is fine with these. PLEASE do not discontinue these wipes!!!????? I am begging you. They are just awesome. I only buy pampers diapers but stopped entering the codes because my computer crashed every time i went to enter purchases. They are the only diaper that keeps her dry. Amazing products!

Best Wipe on the Market
I have tried over 4 different wipes huggies, kirkland (costco) etc. Pampers wipes are by far the best. They seem to clean up very well, were the other brands seem to take more wipes to do the same job. I believe it has something to do with the waffle like design of the wipe itself.
I would say the only thing I would improve on would be the container. I liked the kirkland for the portablility (each package has a dispensing top). I liked Huggies for there refillable container...top was easier to open and close, and the rubber lip helps to separate each wipe well.
But if we are only talking about function, then pampers it the choice for me.

Store your diapers in an area protected from extreme heat and humidity and away from products with fragrances. We recommend the diaper be kept in a dry storage area where the temperature is 85 degrees or less.
Absorbent gelling material is closely related to ingredients widely used in cosmetics and in food processing.

not easy to get out one handed
I hate that they stick together so much that you need 2 hands to get the wipes ready, not an easy thing to do when in the middle of changing a dirty diaper and need more wipes.
Kandoo Flushable Toilet Wipes clean up to 30% better than toilet paper! They're moistened with lotion and pop up from the tub with the push of a button designed for little hands.

Flushes great
We've been using these wipes for over a year now. We moved into a new home that had low flush toilets so we were afraid they might not flush. But these flush with no problems at all. And they are a time saver, avoid mess, smell great and work really well cleaning.

$400 Plumbing Bill in the making!
These things may be "flushable" but they do not disolve over time. After a $400 plumbing bill which involved 50+ feet of snaking the drains until the plumber hit the cities main line to finally unplug the pipes, he pulled out probably 2 years worth of Kandoo wipes! It was bloody disgusting and shocking to see that most of these wipes were still intact. He had to use pliers to get them off his snake. Never again are these things making their way in my shopping cart and I am warning all parents to stay away. These should be pulled from shelves ASAP.

NOT FLUSHABLE!!!
How can you market these as "flushable"?! Our toilet backed up because of these wipes (which I hardly ever used!) and we were told by a plumber that he gets many calls due to these wipes.

I am an avid Pampers client and I was severely disappointed. For a long time I was unable to purchase the Splashers where I live but as soon as they became available I bought a box of size 3 - 4. My son was 22 lbs at the time which is right in the middle of this size. They would leak before we ever even got him in the water. I will not buy them again unless Pampers can prove to me that they will not leak again. It was very embarassing having him at someone's house and the Splashers leaking all over their deck. I would not recommend buying these as you would just as well off with just a swim suit on.

Too much leakage
I am an avid buyer of pampers products and only purchase pampers diapers. I had used another brand of swimmers for my other child but given the satisfaction I have with the diapers I purchased Pampers Splashers. I am very disappointed with the splashers as they leak each time I use them. I have a daughter and when she wears them she leaks up the back of the splashers within a half hour of putting them on. I had purchased 2 boxes but will not purchase anymore.

Im a new mom and my baby is only 7weeks old and 10 lbs. I would of loved to of found a smaller size in the splasher as the summer is just starting and the smallest size they are falling off of her.. Like everyone else says you should make a size 2 for newborns... But besides that very satisfied with all the product from pampers so far.. definetely will keep purchasing...

Pump Malfunction
Our household has been using Kandoo for about 2 years now. We have two young boys. Up until just recently, we've had no issues with the overall product.
Our last three Kandoo hand soap purchases has been a real disappointment to say the least.
It appears the pump dispenser has been very stiff and not very user friendly to a 4yr old. We thought it was a red herring and was a defect with just that one bottle, but when we purchased a 2nd bottle from a 2nd retailer, we experienced the same issues. So, we stopped using Kandoo for about 3-4months. Then as we were shopping we thought we had found a pump which was easy to dispense soap only to find out over time, it got really stiff and tight and now it actually gets stuck at the bottom after pressing down to dispense the soap.
It appears the spring mechanism on this product has changed this past year.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

My Daughter loves it!
Just bought our first bottles of it yesterday, my daughter chose to start with the melon scent (My husband and I are not too fond of the smell) and she enjoys washing her hands with it. Easy to use and rinse off.
I am wondering though it we get gifts to grow points for this product.
