Pampers Response - June 30, 2025
Thank you for your review!
We’re very sorry for this confusion, Jaiden. At Pampers, we are committed to making safe, high-quality products that parents can confidently use for their babies. Our diapers go through many quality checks and we try our very best to make sure that each one reaches you in perfect condition. The glass/clear white crystals you are seeing are likely the absorbent gelling material (AGM) which is the material inside the diaper that absorbs wetness and helps keep your baby dry. When added to our diapers it's dry and granular but forms a gel as it absorbs liquid. I want to assure you this material has a long history of safe use in a variety of products and has been in Pampers for many years. We partner with leading pediatricians, pediatric dermatologists, and safety experts to confirm all the materials we use in our diapers are safe for babies. Still, we understand your concern. The information you've provided is quite helpful and we'll make sure it's shared with our Quality Assurance Team. For further help with this concern, please call us any Monday-Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. Our number is 1 (800) 726-7377.
Little Man loves them and We do, too!
Our little guy now wears a size 3 and has had no complaints so far (or rashes) in his very long 4 months of life! The swaddlers have been our choice since a diaper mishap at 2 weeks and we have never looked back. They're the only ones that keep him dry throughout the night and the inner bands have saved us from all of two blowouts (both not even the fault of the swaddlers, purely 3am user error). So all in all, a solid choice for both protection and price, especially the bigger 100+ boxes.
What changed?
Start by saying we are a pampers household all the way. We had twins last August and had originally registered for many different brands but pampers were always coming out on top. BUT recent we’ve noticed a difference in diapers! My girls have been in swaddlers since they were born but I’m at the point where we’re about to switch companies. These last two boxes I’ve purchased seem thinner, less absorbent and have been leaving gel all over their little bottoms. My poor girls wake up soaked and smelly whereas previously a full diaper wouldn’t leave their skin wet, covered with gel, or smelly. They’re wearing size three, as they are almost 20lbs. Sizing up is going to be too big and not solve the problem. What gives?
size 8
I use these on my 9 year old boy. He has bedwetting issues. We dont like goodnites or underjams. They always leak. My child is 58 pounds. No health issues. They fit him great. We have even used during the day for him. They hold up and keep up with him. as long as he fits them they will be are go to diaper.
Diaper quality has majorly decreased
I’ve been using pampers for my son since he was born. He is 15 months now. The most recent box I bought of pampers is MUCH thinner and rougher feeling. This is not a sizing issue. This is a quality issue. I am definitely unhappy and will be switching to a different brand.
